A powerful gathering for creative women
Imagine yourself here. No competing demands. Just the beauty of nature and a creative project of your choosing…

Join “creatives” Francesca Lynn Arnoldy and Wilka Roig for some uninterrupted, oceanfront YOU time at gorgeous Indian Rocks Beach, Florida!
Who’s invited? Women working on a creative endeavor (professional or personal). This could be a writing, art, business, or craft project, as long as it sparks your imagination and ignites your passion! You can be in the planning, actualizing, or completion stage. The finished product could be just for you or might be something you plan to share.
Join us and work on a creative project of your choosing, whether it’s writing, knitting, sketching, building photo books, business endeavors, or something else entirely!
Don’t have a current undertaking in mind but still want to partake? Consider “Death Journaling,” an introspective, cathartic practice.
What will you experience?
Time. Time to breathe. Time to dream. Focused, uninterrupted, stretched-out time.

- Do you work well within a loosely structured schedule?
- Do you enjoy traveling? And gathering with other women?
Why no men? This is a special getaway just for women in shared accommodations. We’re creating a space where women can safely, fully BE.

YOUR RETREAT LEADERS

Francesca Lynn Arnoldy is a “creative” at heart and on paper. A community doula and death literacy advocate, she is the author of Cultivating the Doula Heart: Essentials of Compassionate Care (a guidebook), Map of Memory Lane (a picture book), and The Death Doula’s Guide to Living Fully and Dying Prepared (a workbook). Francesca is also a published researcher with the Vermont Conversation Lab and she runs an online training program for Death Literacy Educators. She was the original course developer of the University of Vermont’s End-of-Life Doula Professional Certificate Programs. A trusted thought-leader, Francesca has been featured in articles by The New York Times, Fast Company, Newsweek, The Verge, and AARP. She regularly presents on life-and-death topics with hopes of encouraging people to support one another through times of intensity. She ran a travel retreat in Portugal in 2023!
Wilka Roig works as a death doula and grief counselor and is an ordained interfaith minister, dream worker, writer, Taoist arts instructor, cellist, and silversmith. She is devoted to the evolution of our loss, grief, and end-of-life culture. She trained with the International End-of-Life Doula Association (INELDA) in 2017, and it confirmed for her that what we must tend in order not to lose sleep at night is the same as what we must address to prepare for dying. As a teacher with INELDA, her commitment is to grow and promote the end-of-life doula movement in Latin America and globally. Learn more at https://wilkaroig.com/about/.
