The course will prepare you to run community events and/or offer individual care by supplying:
- A foundational knowledge of the end of life, including death anxiety and wellness
- Principles of person-centered language and care approaches
- Explanations of cultural, spiritual, and religious humility and skillful approaches to sensitive information delivery
- Prepared death literacy content for programming, including a community series, numerous workshops, and worksheets
- Robust support to customize and clarify your unique array of offerings

My Original Why
The death of my dear aunt inspired a quiet calling that eventually became a life mission. Before this death, I had no real knowledge of the dying process. I felt lost and overwhelmed like so many people do when facing the end of a beloved’s life. We don’t know what we don’t know, after all. And what we don’t understand, we often fear.
